About the training program
The bachelor's programme in Applied Arts provides a liberal university education and all the necessary knowledge, skills and creative techniques in the applied arts. The programme includes the study of painting, drawing and sculpture, with an emphasis on compositional skills; work with ceramics, hot enamel, porcelain painting, hand weaving, batik, tapestry; in-depth study of the history of fine and applied arts at the Russian Ethnography Museum, the Hermitage, and the Kunstkamera.
