The power industry is one of the leading sectors of the world economy, so the profession of power engineer occupies a leading position among engineering specialties with high-paying salaries. What will they teach you?

  • Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering. A study of the fundamental principles of electrical engineering, including the laws of electrical circuits and the basic components of electrical systems.
  • Electrical Machines and Apparatus. Mastering the design, principles of operation and application of various electrical machines such as generators, transformers and motors.
  • Power Systems. Study of the design, operation and management of power systems including power plants and distribution networks.

What do graduates do?

Graduates of Electrical Power and Electrical Engineering can work as electrical engineers, designing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. They can also take up positions as energy management specialists, optimizing energy consumption and developing energy efficiency strategies.
