About the University
Mari State University is a classical, multidisciplinary university of the Russian Federation. It is located in the central part of Russia in the city of Yoshkar-Ola, the capital of the multinational Republic of Mari El, 150 km away. from Kazan International Airport.

Libraries and educational reso
The university's libraries offer an extensive collection of scientific and educational literature, as well as access to electronic resources. Students can use electronic educational resources for in-depth study of disciplines, as well as for preparation for scientific research and project activities
Scientific infrastructure
For practical work with high-tech equipment, there are more than 100 laboratories and research centers, including digital laboratories. There is an Accreditation and Simulation Training Center where future doctors improve their skills by working with various dummies, phantoms and simulators.
Sports facilities
The university has a free student fitness center with gyms and games rooms, accessible to every student. 25 sports sections are organized. MarSU students regularly become participants and winners of national, Russian and international sports competitions.
Student spaces
All conditions have been created for study, recreation, communication and active participation in social and cultural life. In modern student spaces (reading room, chillout zones, chess school, and the Boiling Point teamwork space), students can relax or prepare for classes.
A cozy student town
The MarSU campus is located in the city center. For a comfortable stay, there are 8 dormitories (more than 3,000 beds) in the immediate vicinity of the academic buildings. Cafes, canteens, sports and gyms, libraries and recreation areas are all necessary for student life inside the campus.
