About the training program

At the Department of Aerohydrodynamics graduates receive in-depth physical and mathematical training, skills of work in applied software packages. Starting from the 2nd year, students undergo internships in research organisations and are engaged in research work under the guidance of leading specialists from IMPA SB RAS and SibNIA. The success of this ‘phystech’ approach can be seen in the scholarship activity of students and the high percentage of graduates' retention at the base enterprises.

  • Study of aerodynamic forces and moments acting on wings, fuselages and other elements.
  • Development of aerodynamic and hydrodynamic systems
  • Study of the laws of motion of liquids and gases
  • Application of similarity theory to modelling processes and analysing experimental data.
