About the training program
Students master the basic concepts and features of the structure of construction materials, including metallic, non-metallic, and other types of materials, as well as the dependence of their properties on structure and composition; the physical essence of phenomena occurring in materials under external influences and during operation. They are skilled in selecting appropriate materials for the production of various products; assessing changes in the mechanical properties of materials due to external influences such as plastic deformation and heat treatment; and have an understanding of prospective directions for the creation of new construction materials.
