About the training program
The Department provides training in the field of development and research of laser devices and technologies in instrumentation, using computer modelling and design tools. Special attention is given to laser optics, optoelectronic information measuring devices, holography.
What do graduates do?
Students of the department receive practical training in the R&D departments of leading companies, such as T8, IPG-Photonics, Samsung, Sony, LG development centres. The department's educational programme also includes a large block of technological internships, which students complete at the largest companies in the industry. Students who have chosen the research track are trained in the leading scientific laboratories of the University, as well as in Russian partner universities.
