About the training program
In this specialisation students are trained in modern engineering technologies: additive technologies, welding and special robotics, computer technologies in design and production, etc. The graduates of the speciality are engaged in technical equipment of enterprises, selection and development of modern technological machines and complexes. Specialists work in design and engineering offices, research institutes, central departments of large industrial enterprises in various fields.
What do graduates do?
The field of professional activity of the graduates: scientific research in the field of: continuous casting of steel, hot and cold rolling, powder metallurgy, pipe and section bending; development of new processes and equipment for rolling; computer modelling of technological processes; organisational and managerial activity, both in the development of new technologies and in the implementation of investment projects. Graduates of the department work as leading designers, technologists, heads of departments of research organisations and enterprises of metallurgical and engineering industry.
