The Rector
Jurisprudence is a basic discipline that forms a unique way of thinking in a student. Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) has a long history, thanks to which several dozen schools in various branches of law were formed. MSAL is the largest specialized university in the country, with unique programs and departments aimed not only at studying all the necessary theory, but also applying all the acquired knowledge in practice.
About the University
The University’s mission is to accumulate and generate innovative knowledge, develop humanistic and legal mechanisms for confronting the challenges of globalization, transform social, informational, natural, biological, spatial and the technology environment at the national and global level. Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) (hereinafter, ‘MSAL’ or ‘University’) is the largest law university with a 90-year history, a leading academic and educational center in the field of jurisprudence.
Over the past 10 years, the University has prepared more than 4,000 students enrolled in secondary vocational education programs, more than 83,000 bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s students, 3,000 postgraduate and doctoral students. The total number of students of the University in Moscow (excluding branches) is more than 15,000.
Every year, the University organizes and conducts more than 200 international, all-Russian and regional scientific and practical events.
