About the training program

Pediatrics is a vocation that requires knowledge, patience and love for children from a doctor. Pediatricians do not only diagnose and treat diseases, but also provide prevention and support in every phase of a child's growing up. Modern pediatrics covers a wide range of aspects, from physical health to psycho-emotional well-being. Each child is unique, and the pediatrician, as an experienced guide, helps to navigate in the world of medicine, choosing the most appropriate solutions for each small patient.

What will they teach you?

  • To diagnose and treat children diseases. Students learn to identify symptoms of diseases, prescribe tests and analyses, choose treatment methods and monitor the condition of patients.
  • To provide emergency medical care. Future pediatricians study the rules of care for various life-threatening conditions of the child.
  • To use modern treatment methods. Future pediatricians are introduced to the latest medical technologies, medicines and procedures.
  • To understand the characteristics of a child's body. Students learn about the age-related features of children's growing up, the impact of heredity and the environment on health.
