About the training program

During their studies, students learn the fundamentals of the oil and gas industry, underground hydromechanics, the basics of constructing and operating oil and gas pipelines, methods for protecting them from corrosion, technology and safety of blasting operations in the oil and gas sector. Students also acquire essential knowledge in geology, petroleum and gas chemistry, mechanics, and more. They learn about the features of drilling deep and ultra-deep wells, preparing well products on land and at sea, developing design documentation, and the operation and repair of oil and gas field equipment.

What do graduates do?

After graduation, students can start their careers as oil and gas extraction operators, well maintenance and repairs operators, technology engineers, or oil and gas extraction specialists. Graduates may also work as the head of the repair section for the central repair service, chief engineer or head of the linear production dispatch station, pipeline diagnostic engineer, or master of the linear emergency operational service. A natural career progression may include positions such as chief designer, engineer, or mechanic at various enterprises.
