About the training program

The Institute of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Kabardino-Balkarian State University is an educational and scientific-practical centre for the training of highly qualified personnel in the specialty 31.05.03 Dentistry and 31.05.03 Dentistry with English included. The strategic goal of the programme implementation is the systematic reforming of the educational process in various directions with the use of advanced information and communication technologies. High level of visualised lectures, possibility to simulate various diseases with the use of multimedia technologies and innovative multifunctional simulators help to master knowledge.

  • Application of the basic principles of organisation of dental care in medical organisations and their structural subdivisions
  • Provision of dental care in outpatient and day hospital settings
  • Diagnosis of dental diseases and pathological conditions of patients; diagnosis of emergency conditions;
  • Creation of favourable conditions for patients and employees in medical organisations of the dental profile
  • Preventing the emergence of diseases among the population through preventive and anti-epidemiological measures
  • Teaching patients basic hygiene and health-improvement measures to prevent dental diseases and promote good health
  • participation in the provision of medical assistance in emergency situations, including medical evacuation; rehabilitation activities:
  • Participation in solving individual research and scientific-applied tasks in the field of health care and medical sciences in the field of diagnosis, treatment, medical rehabilitation and prevention.
